About The Position

Fleet Farm is seeking Corporate Interns dedicated to Legal - Facilities and Construction. The Corporate Intern will gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced retail corporate environment. This role is designed to provide exposure to key business functions, strategic initiatives, and day-to-day operations that support our retail stores and customers. The intern will contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and develop professional skills essential for a successful career in retail or corporate business. This is a 10-week program starting on June 1.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Eagerness to learn and take initiative

Responsibilities

Support department-specific projects and initiatives aligned with company goals
Develop Gantt charts to track project progress
Track store remodel progress, including obtaining permits and licenses
Summarize landlord lease requirements for maintenance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including stores, distribution, and corporate departments
Participate in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and best practices
Provide administrative and operational support as needed
Present a final project or summary of key learnings to leadership at the end of the internship
