The Summer On Premise Sales/Marketing Intern program aims to develop participants’ operational knowledge of Ben E. Keith overall as a beverage wholesaler, developing foundational skills in sales, marketing, and logistics. The intern position will work full time for the program length - learning how our processes work and gaining experience. The program includes onboarding from May 18th-29th, an in-market program from June 1st-July 31st, and a presentation from August 3rd-7th. Interns will learn Ben E. Keith’s philosophy and history while gaining exposure to the food and beverage distribution industry, represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, perform general daily functions as it pertains to the Department need, shadow Department members to learn about Department processes and procedures, make enhancements to and provide support for existing applications and processes, report the progress of assigned projects to their manager, and communicate with all levels of management and user areas in a professional manner. This role offers a flexible schedule with weekend work expectations.
