About The Position

Associated Bank is seeking interns to join their corporate internship program. This 12-week program offers hands-on experience, skill-building, and career exploration. Interns will gain meaningful experience, build their network, learn from mentors, and experience the company culture, values, and mission. The program includes structured activities like orientation, workshops, networking events, research projects, and professional development. Interns will support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Operational Risk Management (ORM), and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) initiatives, assist with risk-related projects and process improvements, perform reporting and data analysis, and contribute to administrative tasks for the risk management team. They will also collaborate with team members, gain exposure to risk disciplines, and develop an understanding of risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree student with sophomore, junior, or senior standing at the time of internship start date; must not have graduated prior to internship start date.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in structured corporate internship programming, including orientation, workshops, networking events, research projects, and professional development activities.
  • Support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Operational Risk Management (ORM), and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) initiatives across the organization.
  • Assist with risk-related projects, process improvement initiatives, and SharePoint enhancements that support risk management activities.
  • Perform reporting, data analysis, and risk-related research to support business objectives and team deliverables.
  • Contribute to correspondence management, administrative activities, and day-to-day support for the risk management team.
  • Collaborate with ERM, ORM, and TPRM team members and participate in meetings to gain exposure to multiple risk disciplines and subject matter experts.
  • Develop an understanding of risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation processes across the organization while contributing to meaningful project work.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines, and complete additional duties as assigned.
