Requirements

  • Prior experience in corporate finance (Aerospace and Defense is a plus)
  • Experience with POC (percentage of completion) or other intricate revenue recognition policies (recurring revenue)
  • Strong skillset in financial modeling, planning and analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems.
  • A willingness to learn as you go and build upon your existing skillset.
  • Critical thinking & problem-solving skills, even when data is not complete or when guidance is limited.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Must provide proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency to comply with ITAR requirements.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen per Lyntris’ drug testing policy.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check per Lyntris’ policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data visualization tools is a plus (Tableau or PowerBI)

Responsibilities

  • Support the annual budgeting process and subsequent quarterly forecasts in collaboration with department heads and executive leadership.
  • Analyze historical financial data and market trends to make informed projections.
  • Prepare, maintain and present monthly financial reports to senior management.
  • Highlight key financial metrics, variances, and trends.
  • Conduct cost analysis and identify areas for margin expansion across the different A&D programs we contract on.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to improve cost efficiency and understand the key cost components of our products.
  • Create and maintain dynamic financial models to assess the financial impact of various scenarios.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities (capital expenditures) and provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Analyze and interpret financial results against budget and forecast.
  • Provide insights into the drivers of financial performance.
  • Monitor and improve the accuracy of financial forecasts through regular reviews and adjustments.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as requested.
  • Provide insights into specific financial issues or business challenges.
  • Other duties as assigned.
