Corporate Finance Analyst / Associate

We are seeking a Corporate Finance BI Analyst/Associate to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL and Tableau, and be able to develop custom queries and reports to provide insights on various aspects of our business. This role offers the opportunity to work with stakeholders across our regional businesses in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, and to drive growth through data-driven decision making. The successful candidate will be intellectually curious and have a strong interest in fintech.

• Develop SQL queries to extract data and customize reports for wider finance team
• Identify and execute on opportunities to automate data extraction for monthly financial reporting
• Partner with stakeholders in the wider finance team to design, develop and maintain new dashboards as business needs evolve
• Work closely with data owners and ultimate end users to reconcile data discrepancies, align on data definitions, and ensuring data are readily available for extraction and analysis
• Generate ad-hoc reports to enable regional and local finance teams to deep dive into specific finance issues and anomalies
• Translate requirements from business users into technical requirements for product management team to implement as finance system development improvements
• Generate and provide insights on the data extracted to management teams to help drive business decisions
• Prepare financial model for budgeting and analysis purpose

• At least 1 year of experience working with SQL and Tableau
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL/PySpark queries
• Experienced in building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau
• Demonstrated ability to work with complex data sets to draw impactful insights
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Ability to pitch and communicate technical concepts at the appropriate level for a non-technical audience
