About The Position

The Corporate Events Intern will support the Corporate Events team in planning and executing events that foster connection, engagement, and community across Progyny. Under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Corporate Events, this intern will assist with research, logistics, vendor coordination, and day‑to‑day planning for in‑person and virtual events. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, eager to learn, and excited about supporting meaningful experiences for employees.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Event Planning, Hospitality, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Communicative, collaborative, and comfortable working with multiple teams.
  • Able to manage evolving priorities and support several projects at once.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in event planning, operations, hospitality, or employee engagement.
  • Ability to work 20-25 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Assist with researching venues, vendors, and activity options for upcoming events, employee gatherings, and offsites.
  • Assist in launching Progyny interest groups by gathering employee feedback, identifying group leads, and helping them build clear communication and engagement plans. This will be the intern’s core project and final presentation.
  • Support planning and logistics for events—including internal team gatherings, summer engagement activities, and company-wide programming.
  • Help maintain databases and inventories of venues, vendors, contract contacts, and industry resources.
  • Support the drafting of event materials such as prep documents, run‑of‑shows, event plans, checklists, and attendee communications.
  • Assist with event set‑up, onsite staffing, and post‑event breakdown as needed.
  • Contribute to surveys, data collection, and post‑event summaries.
  • Assist in managing the events inbox, responding to inquiries, and ensuring internal stakeholders have needed information.
  • Support the maintenance of the annual events calendar and intranet updates.
  • Perform additional administrative and event‑related tasks as assigned.
