About The Position

Our client is a growing healthcare organization operating skilled nursing and long-term care facilities across multiple states. The organization prioritizes strong clinical operations, regulatory excellence, and high-quality resident care. Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Director of Dietitian to oversee dietary operations across healthcare facilities in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York. This role is responsible for implementing standards, supporting facility teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational consistency across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have regional or corporate healthcare experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to take ownership of dietary operations. Significant travel will be required during the initial phase of employment while systems and processes are established. Travel expenses, including hotels and meal stipends, will be reimbursed. Travel requirements are expected to decrease as operations become established.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian credential required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Service Management, or a related field required.
  • Regional or corporate healthcare leadership experience required.
  • Experience overseeing dietary operations across multiple locations.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and dietary best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement operational systems and processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and an ownership mindset.

  • Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight of dietary operations across multiple healthcare facilities.
  • Develop and implement consistent dietary standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Support facility leadership teams in achieving operational, clinical, and resident satisfaction goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local dietary regulations.
  • Conduct facility assessments and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Travel regularly throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York to support facility operations.
  • Mentor and support dietary managers and facility teams.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective action plans when needed.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to improve quality of care and resident outcomes.
  • Establish systems and processes that promote long-term operational success.
  • Drive accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement across all facilities.
  • Take ownership of regional dietary operations and provide strategic leadership for future growth.
