About The Position

The Corporate Director of Destination Sales is responsible for driving top-line revenue growth, market share expansion, and brand presence for a multi-brand hotel portfolio across Florida. The key priority of this role is to identify new business opportunities, developing lead-generation strategies, and close business for the assigned hotels while expanding Concord Hospitality’s footprint in the Florida market. The Corporate Director of Destination Sales partners closely with hotel leadership team, Concord above property team, and brand representatives to ensure sales execution aligns with market opportunities, brand standards, and long-term growth objectives. Requirements

  • Able to travel between assigned hotels, Florida markets, travel to industry events and Concord corporate meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Actively identify, cultivate, and pursue new business opportunities across special corporate, group, leisure travel industry, and special event.
  • Develop and foster business in the above specific market segments for multiple hotels within a cluster through pro-active efforts to include but not limited to the following: direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, appointment calls, networking and site tours.
  • Develop and execute destination lead-generation strategies to support existing hotels and new management.
  • Leverage industry relationships, local partnerships, and market intelligence to generate qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with Concord’s development and acquisitions teams to support new hotel opportunities in the state of Florida.
  • Increase Concord Hospitality’s visibility and reputation within the Florida hospitality, corporate, and tourism sectors.
  • Represent the hotels and the destination at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and client meetings.
  • Support the onboarding and stabilization of new hotels entering the Concord portfolio in the Florida Geographic region.
  • Provide a partnership with each Directors of Sales & Marketing across the destination.
  • Drive destination portfolio-wide sales strategies to increase group, transient, catering, and ancillary revenue.
  • Ensure alignment of destination sales initiatives with Concord Hospitality’s overall revenue and growth objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, pace, booking trends, and competitive positioning of each hotel; identify areas of opportunity and target to reverse trends.
  • Implement standardized sales processes, tools, and reporting across all assigned hotels.
  • Ensure systems utilization, pipeline management, and account tracking are consistent and effective.
  • Identify operational or structural barriers to sales success and collaborate with operations to resolve them.
  • Ensure all booking fee processes are followed.
  • Complete market and competitor knowledge of each hotel.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel brands represented and specific targeted businesses for each.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of each hotel’s business strategies, occupancy, ADR and RevPar goals.
