About The Position

The position is responsible for assisting as necessary with implementing the agency’s compliance program; conducting internal compliance investigations and the internal compliance investigation process; and representing the department as requested.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
3 years related experience
Computer and communication knowledge or skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects
Working knowledge of developmental disabilities
Must have sound judgment, flexibility, and dependability

Responsibilities

Conduct internal compliance investigations and prepare investigative reports as necessary.
Ensure internal compliance investigations are conducted in accordance with the department’s policies and procedures and that investigative reports are finished timely and in accordance with the department’s quality guidelines.
Develop investigation recommendations and ensure that recommendations are implemented.
Monitor investigation responses to make sure programs are responding timely and appropriately to compliance investigative reports.
Assist with responding to government audits, surveys, and inquiries.
Ensure that confidential and potentially sensitive information is processed, stored, and utilized in accordance with agency policy as well as state and federal regulations and statutes.
Respond to questions or issues from departments and programs in a timely manner.
Assist with compliance training and in-services and develop training materials as necessary.
Represent department at meetings as requested.
Stay current on new compliance regulations and statutes.
Stay current with all required Agency and regulatory training.
Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
