About The Position

The position will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and editing presentations in accordance with the company’s brand standards and style guide. Responsibilities will also include assisting with the development of the company’s annual report, designing and developing promotional materials and other graphics, and developing media, such as video and audio content. Additionally, the position will be responsible for updating and maintaining the company’s website and social media accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
  • Experience in audio and visual production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro )
  • Strong knowledge of website management and related tools (WordPress, Elementor, WP Engine), ability to build and maintain websites
  • Experience with audio and video production, including use of cameras, microphones, lighting, audio interfaces, and related tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and other business communication and productivity tools
  • Experience with Canva
  • Experience with HTML and CSS
  • Basic understanding of search engine optimization and Google analytics
  • Understanding of visual principles like color theory, typography, and layout
  • Ability to develop innovative and engaging communication concepts
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong grammar, proofreading, and editing abilities
  • Professional communication with executives and stakeholders
  • Works to develop professional and supportive relationships with others

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to ACES employees for compliance with brand standards
  • Assist with the creation of various forms of communication, including the company’s annual report, presentations, and social media content
  • Assist with developing and maintaining company templates
  • Proofread and edit presentations to ensure compliance with brand standards and style guidelines, including enhancing presentations with graphics, images, etc.
  • Design corporate logos, as needed
  • Produce effective marketing/promotional materials and other collateral by designing layouts and choosing artwork, colors, fonts, etc.
  • Update the department’s internal SharePoint page, as needed
  • Recommend, implement, and maintain website design, content, and operation
  • Assist with coordination of photography, including employee headshots, lifestyle photos, and event photography, as needed
  • Produce, record, and edit audio and video content
  • Produce, record, and edit the company podcast, as well as other audio content, as needed
  • Produce, record, and edit videos/b-roll/graphics, as needed
  • Manage media asset pipelines and archives (naming, metadata, storage, versioning) to support reuse across channels
  • Manage and prioritize email communications, responding to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain awareness of ongoing projects, deadlines, and action items through effective organization and follow-through
  • Accurately track assignments and ensure completion of deliverables
  • Prepare for and actively participate in meetings, including documenting key discussions, decisions, and assigned tasks
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Independently manage workload, identify priorities, and proactively communicate progress, challenges, and resource needs
  • Exercise sound professional judgment
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and project files, as required
  • Assist with planning and execution of ACES’ annual Energy Conference, as needed

  • Comply with all regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, NERC, FERC and relevant state regulations as applicable to the position
  • Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by management
  • Travel as requested
