The Town of Stony Plain is seeking a permanent full-time Corporate Communications Coordinator. This role is crucial in shaping how the Town communicates with residents, businesses, stakeholders, and staff. The Coordinator will bring creativity, storytelling, and strategic thinking to the Corporate Communications team, contributing to strengthening public trust and advancing the Town’s goals through purposeful, coordinated communications. This position works alongside departments to build internal capacity and support informed decision-making across the organization and community. The Communications Coordinator contributes to all service areas, with creative writing at the centre of each, including Digital Channel Management, Physical Communication Tool Management, Content Development, Media Relations, Brand Management, Emergency Communication Management, Project Production, Training and Support, Paid Marketing Management, and Public Participation Support.
