About The Position

The Sales Analyst role is the sales support role within the Global Trade Finance line of business, accountable to provide support to Sales Professionals in ultimate support of the end client. The role is responsible for delivering effective sales support to the sales teams by acting as the day-to-day sales contact for the client for sales related questions and by providing support for pre and post sales activities such as document completion, requests for information and presentation collateral. This role is accountable for providing the coordination of trade finance client onboarding, financial transaction set-up and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Providing exceptional customer service to Global Trade Finance clients. Aiding the Global Trade team in sales prep such as: client research, account metrics, deck drafts and prospect/client files in planning client/prospect meetings Compile pre-call and post call information packages for appropriate client analysis, ensuring the global trade team has the information necessary to be knowledgeable about the clients/prospects business and needs. Complete due diligence and credit analysis on new and existing client relationships. May include client visits, analysis of business models, and comprehensive review of industry trends and related regulations. Acts as the day-to-day sales support for sales related questions such as product information, pricing, and execution requirements. Assist with sales and service administration and processing ensuring client experience is seamless and opportunities are identified and met. Identifies opportunities for increased efficiency and improved service to internal and external clients. Responsible for timely execution as committed to the client. Ensures once completed, the client is provided with all required documentation. Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Master’s degree program with a graduation date of December 2026 or Spring 2027
  • A minimum GPA of 3.4/4.0

  • Typically between 3 - 5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An undergraduate degree with academic coursework in finance, economics, or accounting and an outstanding academic achievement.
  • Financial analysis training and experience.
  • 0 - 3 years of successive relevant experience within investment and/or corporate banking experience based on business requirements.
  • Highly skilled in building complex financial models.
  • Expertise in financial computer applications and database management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provides innovative solutions for corporate, institutional, and government clients for monetary activities related to commerce and international trade including: traditional trade finance, Supply Chain Finance, Documentary Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, Demand Guarantees and Documentary Collections.
  • Originates and structures corporate lending transactions that facilitates the financing and risk mitigation of export or import transactions where goods and services are either bought or sold and markets the Bank’s full capabilities to clients worldwide.
  • Develops written internal and external marketing pitch material.
  • Supports deal teams in development, presentation, and winning mandates.
  • Reviews and assists in preparation of credit documentation (i.e. including applications, memoranda, presentations, etc.) for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Seeks to develop an understanding of client needs and outcomes.
  • Identifies opportunities for increased efficiency and improved service to internal and external clients.
  • Provides analytical findings to deal teams.
  • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
