About The Position

Nelson Mullins is seeking a corporate associate to join its Atlanta office. Firm attorneys in Atlanta have worked on many business and legal developments in the Southeast and beyond, including national class action court cases, formation of public companies, financial institution capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and work on important pro bono cases. The Firm moved to its current location at 201 17th Street NW in 2007 as the first tenant in a new building located at Atlantic Station, a brownfield reclamation and mixed-used development that houses everyday amenities including alternative transportation options within walking distance. The office meets the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.

Requirements

• At least three years of meaningful corporate/transactional experience
• Knowledgeable in the areas of mergers and acquisitions
• Knowledgeable in equity financings
• Knowledgeable in general corporate work
• Strong writing skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communications skills
• Excelled academically
• Adept in case management
• Admitted to and in good standing with the Georgia Bar
