About The Position

Seeking Corporate Associates with 1 - 5 years of experience. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of interesting, complex and often high-profile transactions with a diverse clientele that includes Fortune 100 corporations, well known public and private companies, investment funds and sponsors, and prominent individuals and family offices. The firm has a nationally recognized corporate practice and represents clients in a broad range of transactional and other matters. Associates will have a high degree of client contact and will be given as much responsibility as their experience, skills, and willingness allow. The firm is particularly interested in attorneys who would contribute to the diversity of the firm and the profession.

Requirements

• 1 - 5 years of experience.
• Outstanding academic achievement, including law school record, references, and proven writing skills.
• Lawyers are generally ranked high in their class at top tier law schools.
• Experience working on deals in which the candidate took on an active and substantial role.
• Experience working with long-term clients in a strategic or advisory capacity.
• Demonstrated commitment to the firm, clients and matters is required.

Nice To Haves

• Admission to CA or DC Bar: Not necessary initially.
• Candidates from Law firms with a high-quality transactional practice; corporations, investment banks, private equity funds, consulting firms and governmental agencies with relevant experience and qualifications.
• Attorneys who would contribute to the diversity of the firm and the profession.

Responsibilities

• Work on deals in which the candidate took on an active and substantial role.

• Travel occasionally depending on client needs.
