About The Position

Apex Companies is seeking a part-time Corporate AEC Recruiter, titled internally as Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist, to support recruitment across corporate services nationwide. The role requires recent experience recruiting in the AEC industry; applicants without that experience will not be considered. The position is remote-flexible and scheduled for 10 hours per week. The recruiter manages the full hiring process, partners with hiring managers and the recruiting team, and delivers a strong candidate experience while helping Apex meet its hiring goals.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of recruiting experience in the AEC industry; recent AEC recruiting experience is required.
• Demonstrated candidate sourcing, networking, and outreach skills.
• An established network of AEC professionals.
• Strong interviewing skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency using software and computer systems.
• Self-starter who can take ownership and deliver results.
• Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and high personal and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment process, including conducting intake meetings with hiring managers.
• Assist in drafting job descriptions and provide insights on compensation and market trends.
• Proactively source and recruit technical and professional talent in the corporate services sector nationwide.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews, preparing detailed written summaries for hiring managers.
• Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews and maintain communication with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and extend job offers and negotiate as needed to secure successful hires.
• Accurately track candidate information and progress using the ATS and other tools.
• Comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
• Provide regular follow-up and feedback to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
• Collaborate with the Apex Recruiting Team to achieve hiring goals.
