About The Position

White Family Dealerships is seeking an organized, technology-minded Accounting Specialist to join our corporate accounting team. This position combines payroll administration responsibilities with a variety of accounting and financial operations duties, creating an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long-term accounting career. Our payroll tax filings, remittances, W-2 preparation, and compliance functions are handled by an outside payroll provider, allowing this position to focus on payroll processing, employee support, accounting functions, reconciliations, and operational support across our dealership group. The ideal candidate enjoys working with technology, solving problems, and learning new processes in a collaborative team environment.

• Automotive dealership experience is helpful, but not required
• Experience with modern software systems is a plus
• Payroll and/or office manager experience may qualify you for a more senior role

Responsibilities

• Process employee payroll accurately and timely
• Coordinate with outsourced payroll provider
• Assist employees with payroll-related questions
• Maintain payroll records and reports
• Reconcile payroll accounts
• Reconcile bank statements and schedules
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Support month-end close processes
• Cross-train in dealership accounting functions
• Assist with special projects and process improvements
