Bessemer Trust is seeking an experienced Manager to join the Corporate Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage accounting activities for certain legal entities, ensure the financial statement compilation and bank regulatory reporting is completed timely and accurately, and oversee the accounting and enhancements related to intergroup allocations. We also expect this person to make a meaningful contribution to enhancing the close process. This role will report into the Head of Corporate Accounting and will have meaningful interaction with our Corporate Controller. The Corporate Accounting Manager will be responsible for: Specific bank subsidiary accounting close processes and regulatory reporting Key deliverables include legal entity trial balances, bank subsidiary call reports Accounting for fees from client services, our primary revenue driver Accounting for pensions and intergroup allocations Delivery of financial statement close packages to the Head of Corporate Accounting and Corporate Controller Lead the Corporate Accounting department’s board reporting processes Meaningfully contribute to the year-end audit, including oversee financial statement preparation The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: Bachelor’s degree in accounting CPA is preferred with advanced US GAAP accounting knowledge 6-10 years of professional experience in financial services, preferably banking and/ or wealth management Big 4 public accounting experience beneficial Experience with Oracle ERP is beneficial Analytical and solution oriented Experience in process and control design and implementation Able to effectively train and coach team members Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines; execute responsibilities with a sense of urgency and follow-through The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $165,000 per year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. In addition, this position may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, and other compensation programs as applicable.
