About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team in Grandview, Missouri. This role will lead key accounting activities across Grandview and related U.S. locations, support strong internal controls, and develop the accounting team. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, experience managing individual contributors, and the ability to work effectively across multiple locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CMA is a plus.
• 7+ years of related accounting experience, including public accounting and/or private accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in U.S. GAAP and an understanding of SOX requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial systems; JD Edwards experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively across departments and locations.
• International experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting processes and support an accurate, on-time month-end close for Grandview and related U.S. locations.
• Oversee applicable SOX processes and procedures, including account reconciliations, to ensure proper internal controls are in place and followed.
• Support plant performance reporting and analysis as requested by the Finance team.
• Manage intercompany activity with locations around the world, including invoicing and reconciliations.
• Partner with the shared service location responsible for cash applications, disbursements and fixed assets.
• Provide support to the corporate tax department for Grandview and related U.S. locations, as needed.
• Manage treasury, accounts payable and other accounting activities for the Canada sales operation.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Manage, coach and develop the accounting team.
