About The Position

Join Collage Rehabilitation Partners, a dynamic leader in neurological rehabilitation dedicated to providing exceptional care to adults with brain injuries. We are seeking a high-caliber, hands-on Corporate Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is an ideal "first exit" for a public accounting professional looking to move into a high-impact corporate environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining audit-ready financial processes while serving as a key stakeholder in our upcoming enterprise-wide ERP system transition.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 2+ years of public accounting experience.
Prior experience at a Big 4 or Mid-Tier firm (e.g., Deloitte, PwC, RSM, BDO, Grant Thornton, or similar) is required.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in audit/assurance is strongly preferred.
CPA certification (active or in-progress) is strongly preferred.
Experience with Great Plains, Sage Intacct, or similar ERP systems is a plus.
A proactive problem-solver with a "strong sense of ownership" who thrives in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial reporting adheres strictly to GAAP standards.
Manage accruals, prepaid expenses, and GL coding; perform thorough P&L reviews and variance analyses to provide actionable financial insights.
Prepare and manage monthly entries and reconciliations for ASC 842 (Lease Accounting).
Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors, managing account reconciliations, roll-forwards, and documentation to ensure a seamless audit process.
Support the Controller in migrating data and designing processes for a new ERP system implementation, leveraging technology to automate and enhance operations.
