This role will be based out of their South San Francisco HQ with the flexibility to work from home 1-2 times a week after successful onboarding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required
  • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Working experience with GAAP
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Data analytics skills
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organization skills
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and listening skills
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace and adapt to change
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively in teams, absorb information quickly, and having a deep desire to learn and succeed

  • Public accounting experience
  • CPA
  • Experience with NetSuite

Responsibilities

  • Cash posting and reconciling
  • Handle prepaids, deposits, and accruals
  • Create and enter monthly journal entries for various accounts
  • Create and enter inter-company journal entries and settle inter-company accounts
  • Reconcile various accounts
  • Assist with financial reporting
  • Prepare and gather information and reports requested by auditors
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Foster a strong working relationship with external and internal stakeholders
