About The Position

HRI is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their Accounting Department. This role does not involve supervision of others but reports to the Corporate Director of Centralized Accounting. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience in corporate or multi-property hospitality accounting, and with systems like Aptech PVNG or OnQ PMS, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience required.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • Corporate or multi-property hospitality accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience with accounting systems such as Aptech PVNG, OnQ PMS, or similar a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and monthly account reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and financial statement preparation.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of invoices, expense allocations, and coding.
  • Support the Corporate Director of Centralized Accounting in consolidating and analyzing financial data across multiple entities.
  • Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests as needed.
  • Maintain organized accounting records and documentation for compliance and reporting.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
