About The Position

The Corporate Accountant is primarily responsible for processing financial transactions at the corporate level for multiple companies. The role focuses on intercompany work, including accounts payable approvals, journal entries, and reconciliations. The position uses systems such as NetSuite, Expensify, Givex, and Shopify and requires strong Excel and communication skills. The Corporate Accountant works closely with members of the corporate accounting departments and corporate department leads.

This is a hybrid role based in Fort Worth, with onsite work Tuesday through Thursday.

Requirements

• Two to four years of previous experience in the same or a related field.
• Intercompany or Corporate Shared Services (CSS) experience.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Oracle NetSuite experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including cash, inventory, received-but-not-billed items, and gift card liability.
• Update corporate department reporting with actuals each month.
• Review and approve vendor bills and enter vendor bills into NetSuite as necessary.
• Code and approve intercompany journal entries, journal entries integrated via Expensify, and monthly accruals.
• Match authorized signatures and totals.
• Enter invoices, credit memos, and deposit or prepayment requests in NetSuite.
• Ensure accuracy for intercompany or corporate allocation transactions.
