About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Department of Public Safety Sergeant, the Public Safety Corporal provides public safety services to the Augustine Band of Cahuilla Indians by preventing crime and protecting life, property, and Tribal assets through engagement and enforcement of applicable policies, laws, and ordinances. The Corporal makes decisions and assists the Sergeant in supervising, developing, and directing the activities of an assigned shift. The role may require responding to emergencies, working voluntary extended shifts or mandatory overtime based on business needs, and coordinating closely with law enforcement and other emergency responders.
