About The Position
Sabates Eye Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Cornea Surgeon to join its growing Kansas City practice. The role combines a busy clinical and surgical practice with academic collaboration with the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC), offering the opportunity to maintain strong surgical volume while helping train and mentor ophthalmology residents. The practice offers an established patient base, a strong regional referral network, a broad mix of cornea, anterior segment, and cataract surgery, an experienced clinical and surgical support team, and modern technology and surgical facilities. Long-term growth, leadership, and partnership potential are available.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible.
- Fellowship-trained in cornea.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and surgical eye care, including cornea, anterior segment, and cataract care.
- Teach and mentor ophthalmology residents through the collaboration with UMKC.
