About The Position
Sabates Eye Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Cornea Surgeon to join its growing Kansas City practice. The role combines a busy clinical and surgical practice with academic collaboration with the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC). The surgeon will maintain strong surgical volume while helping train and mentor ophthalmology residents. The practice offers immediate clinical and surgical volume with an established patient base, a strong regional referral network, a broad mix of cornea, anterior segment, and cataract surgery, and a collaborative multispecialty ophthalmology team with experienced clinical and surgical support. Modern technology and surgical facilities are available, with potential for long-term growth, leadership, and partnership.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible.
- Fellowship-trained in cornea.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and surgical care in cornea, anterior segment, and cataract surgery.
- Teach and mentor ophthalmology residents through UMKC.
