About The Position

Sabates Eye Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Glaucoma Surgeon to join its growing practice in the Kansas City region. The opportunity combines a busy clinical and surgical glaucoma practice with academic collaboration with the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC). The surgeon will maintain strong surgical volume while helping train and mentor future ophthalmologists. The role offers immediate clinical and surgical glaucoma volume, an established patient base, and a strong regional referral network. The surgical mix includes minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), traditional glaucoma procedures, and cataract surgery. The physician will work with a collaborative, multi-specialty ophthalmology team and experienced clinical and surgical support, with access to advanced technology and surgical facilities. Long-term growth, leadership, and partnership potential are available. Compensation includes a competitive base salary with production incentives. Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology.
Fellowship-trained in glaucoma.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and surgical glaucoma care.
Perform glaucoma procedures, including MIGS and traditional glaucoma procedures, as well as cataract surgery.
Teach and mentor ophthalmology residents through collaboration with UMKC.
