About The Position

As a Core Operations Senior Manager in Investment Operations, you will contribute to driving the future of Core Operations as the enterprise evolves to meet changing business and client needs. You will have broad responsibilities for the Core Operations department in addition to providing strategic thought leadership and direction to an assigned management team leading global functions. Core Operations supports the investment process and distribution efforts by performing accounting, fund administration, and securities operations for the investment portfolios available to Capital Group’s global clients. The department’s strong operations and analytical capabilities, along with the agility to build new capabilities, enable superior investment outcomes and high quality service for our clients. Specific areas of focus may include cash and security reconciliations, currency management, business ownership of technology applications, daily valuations of securities, trade processing, corporate actions research, reference data management, determining net asset value, or client account implementation and support. You will play an integral role in the strategic planning to achieve the Core Operations 2031 outcomes and will be expected to have a hands-on approach to managing the operations as well as direct involvement in thoughtful talent management for our associates. You will partner with the Senior Leadership team to define team outcomes and goals, ensuring alignment with Capital Group’s mission, values, and Long Term Strategic priorities. You will develop a deep understanding of industry products, practices and services and use this knowledge to continually enhance the level of service to clients as well as the operational effectiveness to help drive the business with scale, with a focus on current and future growth.
