About The Position

As a Core Lab Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating revenue and maximizing profitability and sales growth by closing sales. This role is typically aligned with a specific field sales rep(s) or field sales team. Sells to and services accounts via phone. Usually responsible for non-complex sales. Operates under moderate supervision. Applies advanced knowledge and skills to complete assignments requiring judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Receives little instruction on daily assignments and may determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years relevant work experience
  • Have previous customer facing experience
  • ADP or equivalent rotational program/internships could be considered in lieu of 2+ years’ experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment
  • Ability to understand technical market issues and factors
  • Planning and organization skills
  • Ability to drive revenue generation

Responsibilities

  • Supporting field sales representatives and regional business manager within their assigned territory.
  • Supporting and growing assigned accounts through menu expansion, service contract renewals and superior account management.
  • Managing and retaining your own assigned accounts and growing your customer base through menu expansion, contract extensions, and competitive instrument placements in the physician office laboratory space.
  • Contacts assigned customers and sells to/services accounts via phone or other electronic means within a designated territory to develop new business, grow existing business, maintain customer relationships and troubleshoot customer problems.
  • Identifying and developing strategic account plans, developing and delivering the differentiating message and quantifiable economic value for products and services, selling the primary differentiation of Roche products, overcoming and managing objections, and negotiating to obtain sales.
  • Negotiates and manages ongoing account support, and programs to meet the customer and Roche’s needs.
  • Maintains complete and accurate customer data for assigned territory in sales force automation system per the timelines provided by business area.
  • Captures customer complaints and inserts them into the Roche Quality System through the CAPA process.
  • Follows Good Promotional Practices as outlined by the Roche Quality System.
