About The Position

This is a 0.20 FTE Term position for a Core French 6,7,8; Academic Support role within the Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education. The terms and conditions of employment, including wages, are in accordance with the Nova Scotia Teachers' Provincial Agreement. The posting closes at midnight on August 21st, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction within the framework established by the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development
• Implement strategies, activities, and techniques for promoting student learning based on each student’s prior knowledge, skills, and learning needs
• Demonstrate best practices in assessment to determine next steps
• Attend and actively engage in meetings and ongoing professional development
• Maintain and submit all records in online systems and other communication avenues
