About The Position
Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. We have an exciting opportunity for a Coremaker Finisher.
Requirements
- Experience in foundry manufacturing environment preferred
- Lift and carry up to (50lbs)
- Good communication skills
- On the job training while working with an experienced operator until position, certification is achieved.
Responsibilities
- Accurate scanning in and out of jobs and proper reporting of processed quantities.
- Wear appropriate safety equipment; keep work area clean and safe at all times
- Make sand cores used in molds to form holes or hollows in metal casting by performing corefins from cores.
- Perform other duties as assigned
