Additionally, it involves cleaning, pasting, and assembling sand cores, operating various machines for fabrication, and setting up and dismantling machine fabricating equipment. Routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning are also part of the duties. The role includes operating a forklift for material movement and loading/unloading trucks, interacting with computer software, and handling molten metal, including regulating furnace temperature and skimming dross. Quality inspection, troubleshooting, and problem resolution are critical. The position also involves instructing others, ensuring work quality, and adapting to changing work schedules and duties as needed. Monitoring for unsatisfactory quality or unusual operating conditions and alerting supervisors is a key responsibility. Successful completion of specific education, training, or certifications may be required.
