About The Position

We are expanding our team with a CORE Business Partner. This is an exciting role in strengthening execution in the Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality (OSCQ) organization by partnering with leaders and teams to drive operational excellence, build capability, and deliver measurable business impact across OSCQ. The CORE Business Partner translates strategy into action while fostering innovation and continuous improvement. This high‑visibility role will facilitate solving business challenges and accelerating results across OSCQ SBUs and functions. This position is onsite in Andover, MA; Tucson, AZ; or McKinney, TX and requires approximately 25% domestic travel.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Raytheon business and program processes/cadence
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations or minimum of 7 years with an advanced STEM degree in (required language)
  • Experience in partnering and influencing stakeholders across the organization with proven communication, project management, and change management skills
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Requires expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • May have deep knowledge of project management.
  • Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems.
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters’ Degree in Business, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related degree
  • Advanced certification in Lean/CORE/Six Sigma or equivalent external certification(s)
  • Experience leading, coaching, and facilitating lean and continuous improvement methods & tools
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and/or strengthening internal customer relationships
  • Understands and meets the pace and needs of the business

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across the organization to improve business operations and deliver results that enhance customer outcomes.
  • Lead the operating cycle from goal alignment, execution, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Facilitate, coach, and lead improvement initiatives that impact schedule, quality, cost, and employee/customer satisfaction.
  • Coach and guide teams on continuous improvement tools and methods to build capability.
  • Translate your functional/program knowledge into continuous improvement plans to achieve business priorities
  • Inspire a culture of innovation, learning, and articulating business impact
  • Coach/facilitate continuous improvement engagements through the full lifecycle with cross-functional teams to achieve results
