About The Position

Join Lanteris Space Systems as a strategic HR Business Partner, where you'll serve as a trusted advisor to leaders driving the future of space technology. This role is based in our Palo Alto, CA office in a hybrid capacity. In this role, you'll partner with executives and managers to shape organizational strategy, foster an inclusive culture, and unlock the potential of our talented workforce. You'll have the opportunity to influence company-wide initiatives while developing your own leadership capabilities in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or 9+ years of relevant HR experience in lieu of degree)
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines including talent management, compensation, organizational design, employee relations, diversity & inclusion, and employment law
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving employee relations issues and partnering with business leaders

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
  • Experience in aerospace, engineering, or high-tech manufacturing environments
  • Proven track record designing and facilitating leadership development programs
  • Advanced analytical skills with HRIS and workforce analytics tools
  • Experience managing HR operations during periods of organizational growth or M&A activity
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership – Build trusted relationships with leaders to drive business outcomes through effective people and organizational strategies
  • Executive Advisory – Serve as a confidential advisor on complex leadership dynamics, organizational health, and strategic initiatives
  • Organizational Effectiveness – Lead large-scale changes including restructuring, growth initiatives, and transformation efforts
  • Talent Strategy – Partner with leaders on workforce planning, performance management, talent assessment, and succession planning
  • Change Management – Facilitate people-related change initiatives and foster high-performing teams.
  • Program Implementation – Deliver value-added HR programs aligned with business objectives across client groups
  • Data-Driven Insights – Analyze workforce data and translate findings into actionable people strategies
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Total Rewards, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and other departments to execute programs effectively
  • Leverage HR expertise to serve as a trusted advisor and collaborator, formulating partnerships across engineering, operations and functional teams to deliver value-added solutions and services.
  • Employee Relations – Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct thorough, objective investigations.
  • Provide expert guidance to management on performance management, coaching, disciplinary actions, and career development.
  • Compliance – Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies; partner with Legal and Compliance teams to mitigate organizational risks
