Mid to Senior Copywriter, Creative Development - Temporary Worker

About The Position

This is a temporary assignment starting ASAP through the end of the year, with the potential to extend or convert to a permanent role, though neither is guaranteed. The ideal candidate will have a broad mix of experience across integrated brand marketing, retail, CRM, content, social, commerce, retail media, and highly regulated customer communications. This role requires leadership in both high-volume creative production and strategic customer engagement initiatives. Experience in customer wellness, healthcare, or health-adjacent industries is required. This role is specifically for advertising/creative copywriters with a strong portfolio demonstrating experience with advertising campaigns. We are not seeking content strategists, SEO or UX writers, technical writers, or long-form writers. The Copywriter is responsible for generating, co-managing, and co-directing the look, tone, and feel of all on-strategy creative ideas across multiple mediums. This role is project-based, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of clients.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in the creative advertising industry
  • Bachelors in advertising, Marketing or related field (In lieu of degree, equivalent experience in a relevant field required)
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, presentation, and client relationship skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Professional, outgoing, friendly, fearless, and resilient
  • Demonstrated creative success on wide range of client work
  • Customer wellness, healthcare, or health-adjacent industry experience is required
  • Candidates must be authorized to work and reside in the United States
  • Must be available to work during Eastern Time (ET) business hours

  • Candidates based in or near Boston, Hartford (CT), Rhode Island, or New York are preferred for this fully remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior writing skills to concept against different deliverables, including but not limited to; manifestos, scripts, digital and content, developing campaigns, activations, social posts, and more across multiple projects, deliverables and clients simultaneously
  • Self-edit and review all deliverables for grammatical and formatting issues, ensuring strategy alignment as well as clients’ tone, style, audience, and objectives
  • Develop superior creative solutions that successfully live across all forms of media and reflect a firm understanding of the communications objective, client nuances and timing/budget parameters
