About The Position

This role is for a 1st Shift Cope - Carlson Clamp - Class 2 position. The principal functional responsibilities involve being part of a team responsible for chopping/staging parts for assembly, operating all equipment in the miter door cell, and moving material. The position requires a strong emphasis on safety consciousness and good housekeeping habits. Attention to detail is crucial to avoid scrap, and the employee must meet all quality standards and production goals. The role also requires willingness to perform any other tasks necessary for the department's success. These responsibilities are general and not exhaustive.

Requirements

  • One year of production experience or similar in carpentry or fast-paced, detail-oriented environment is preferred
  • Work neatly (gluing and stapling doors) and meet quality standards
  • Two to three years of work experience
  • Knowledge of safe work practices
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be able to distinguish colors and species
  • Ability to read a tape measure and caliper
  • Math and computer skills
  • Ability to read/write/communicate in English
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Self-starter who works effectively without close supervision
  • Report to work on a regular basis

Nice To Haves
