About The Position

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Laboratory Coordinator (Project Management) to join their environmental laboratory team. The role involves assisting project managers with client service tasks for microbiology exceedances. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a science field.
  • Bilingual (French mandatory).
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be organized, meticulous, and focused.
  • Must be able to multitask, work under pressure, and manage multiple deadlines under stressful conditions with strict guidelines.
  • Must be responsible, independent, dedicated, and motivated with a good team spirit.
  • Must have the initiative to recognize when administrative assistance is needed from project manager colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing excellent customer service regarding analytical turnaround times, report delivery, and billing for completed files.
  • Manage subcontracting processes and coordinate sample pick-up schedules.
  • Ensure client phone calls are returned within 30 minutes.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to build strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Establish and meet client delivery commitments and laboratory schedules, especially during peak workloads, based on client priorities.
  • Coordinate bottle order deliveries within required timelines.
  • Coordinate and follow up on subcontracting.
  • Provide data to clients in their specific electronic formats.
  • Assist the billing department and the generation of analysis reports.
  • Maintain and follow up on client files.
  • Assist the project manager in preparing submissions and RFPs.
  • Document and follow up on client complaints, and communicate them to the project manager.
  • Assist the sample receiving department and the preparation of containers.
  • Ensure all entry forms are verified and approved within 30 minutes of entry into the computer system.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, report generation, mail, billing, etc.
  • Stay updated on new methods, pars, and mocs through the QSI database.
  • Maintain employee training records.
  • Adhere to and participate in the organization's QC/QA policies.
