About The Position

The Coordinator, Talent Acquisition, works with leadership to manage the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, assess, and hire top talent aligned with CPSA’s goals. This role partners with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience. This is a long-term contract opportunity for approximately 18 months.

Requirements

  • Business diploma with a preference for specialization in Human Resources
  • 5 years of related experience, including 2 years in recruitment

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
  • Partner with hiring managers to define selection criteria and understand the talent needs
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and talent pipelines
  • Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and potential
  • Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience
  • Monitor recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, etc.) and recommend process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and CPSA policies throughout the hiring process
  • Build and maintain talent pools for current and future hiring needs
  • Support employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality candidates
  • Proactive presence on social media to build a talent pool and pipeline with active outreach to possible future talent
  • In support of continuous quality improvement, review and make recommendations to enhance CPSA’s communication practices and stay on top of current communications and market trends
  • Other duties as required
