About The Position

Support the day-to-day activities and events related to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards. This role is crucial for facilitating a comprehensive university-wide student conduct program, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and developing educational programs to uphold community standards.

Requirements

Requires a relevant bachelor's degree.
Requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in higher education environment such as student conduct, residence life and housing, or student affairs, or closely related field which includes experience in an investigation/adjudication environment.
Knowledge of due process requirements and federal and state laws impacting student conduct policies and procedures required.
Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and administrative capabilities required.
Ability to coordinate all aspects of student disciplinary action maintain thorough confidential records required.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Higher Education, Counseling, or Law preferred.
Prior experience and training in conducting complex investigations including Title IX, Gender-Based Misconduct, Discrimination, and Hazing cases preferred.
Proficient with Maxient and student management software preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with the facilitation of a comprehensive university-wide student conduct program (academic and non-academic) as it applies to individual students and student organizations.
Facilitate student meetings and hearings, conduct investigations, maintain student conduct records, gather data, prepare reports, and assist in the development of policies and procedures.
Assist with the development and implementation of educational programs and training events for the campus community educating community members on community standards, and the student conduct process.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards.
