The Assistant Director for Student Conduct and Community Standards serves as a key administrative leader within the Division of Student Affairs and plays a vital role in fostering a safe, respectful, and educational campus environment. Reporting to the Assistant Dean, Student Conduct & Community Standards the Assistant Director provides direct support in the administration, coordination, and enhancement of the University's student conduct system. This position works collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and administrators to address behavioral concerns, promote accountability, and support student development both on and off campus. The Assistant Director is responsible for developing and delivering educational outreach, training programs, and conduct procedures that promote student understanding of their rights and responsibilities as outlined in the Code of Student Conduct. This position also plays an essential role in supporting equity, inclusion, and access for a diverse student population, utilizing trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate approaches in all student interactions. Through data-informed decision-making, strategic partnerships, and a strong commitment to restorative practices, the Assistant Director supports the university’s mission to foster a community grounded in integrity, accountability, and student success.
