About The Position

This position coordinates, oversees, and directs the operational activities of the Healthy Families Harford County Home Visiting Program. This position supervises professional staff; implements and monitors compliance with Healthy Families America standards, MIECHV grant requirements, and departmental policies; coordinates and implements quality assurance and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities; and collaborates with community partners to promote the effective delivery of evidence-based home visiting services. This position supports the Harford County Health Department's mission by promoting health equity through evidence-based practices, strengthening community partnerships, identifying barriers to services, and implementing strategies that improve outcomes for children and families.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Two years of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.
Current Harford County Health Department employee.
