About The Position

The main purpose of this full-time contractual Resource Coordinator position for the Local Management Board (LMB) will be to provide support and technical expertise for the agency's daily operations and activities. This position will work with numerous community and governmental agencies, stakeholders and community members to promote the interests of the Worcester County LMB and the LMB 'Hub'. This position will also support the Director by assisting in the coordination and oversight of programs to preserve children and families that are funded through the Governor's Office of Children (GOC), by county government designation. Additionally, this position will help ensure program quality and assist with monitoring subvendor invoices, reports, expenses, and developing contracts. The selected applicant must be able to work and travel to all Worcester County Health Department sites as well as to areas outside the county for program monitoring, program implementation, state-wide meetings, and training related to job functions and system management. This includes coordination in Somerset and Wicomico counties where the LMB will serve as the Community Partner Hub through grant funding under the Maryland Community Health Resources Commission.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
  • One year of administrative staff or professional work in a health care setting
  • Ability to work and travel to all Worcester County Health Department sites as well as to areas outside the county for program monitoring, program implementation, state-wide meetings, and training related to job functions and system management

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in daily LMB and LMB Hub operations
  • Supporting community support planning
  • Organizing and hosting Hub Steering Committee meetings
  • Working closely with subvendors to provide technical assistance and coordination to further the goals of the LMB and the LMB Hub
  • Ensuring program quality
  • Assisting with monitoring subvendor invoices, reports, expenses, and developing contracts
  • Work and travel to all Worcester County Health Department sites as well as to areas outside the county for program monitoring, program implementation, state-wide meetings, and training related to job functions and system management
