Requirements

  • Coordinate and support the braiding of evidence based programs, initiatives and strategies implemented through the Community School Grant, McKinney Vento Grant, and Title I Grant used to provide all children with fair, equitable, and high-quality education.
  • Work to ensure all students meet challenging academic state standards that result in closing educational achievement gaps.
  • Coordinate the development, implementation, and monitoring of Title I, Part A funded staffing and strategies in accordance with federal and state Title I, Part A requirements and the Maryland Accountability System.
  • Coordinate the braiding of school-based Concentration of Poverty (COP) grant-funded strategy and program implementation in collaboration with the Office of Community Schools.
  • Coordinate and supervise Homeless Education Programs and federal McKinney Vento requirements in accordance with established guidelines.
