Requirements

  • State of Florida RN License.
  • BLS required.
  • 2-3 years of administrative support experience preferably in quality improvement and or compliance in the medical field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the QI and Compliance Manager, assist in conducting chart audits and other data analysis needed for each of the quality and compliance plan measures to aid in determining the organization's quality and compliance performance.
  • Create and maintain compliance and quality dashboards and graphs to communicate Eldercare's performance in relation to HPMS measures.
  • Assist with QI and Compliance meeting scheduling and planning, including the agenda, handouts, and minutes.
  • Assist in audit preparation and active surveys under the direction of the QI and Compliance Manager and Executive Director.
  • Assist with the Participant Advisory Committee meeting planning, handouts, and minutes.
  • Assist the QI and Compliance Manager with new hire and annual quality and compliance training materials.
  • Coordinate other meetings and travel as requested.
  • Assist in drafting and updating organization's policies and procedures.
  • Assist Director and QA Manager in all administrative projects in a timely and effective manner.
  • Take minutes at meetings according to prescribed format, transcribe, obtain approval, and distribute as requested.
  • Maintain minimum inventory of office supplies as requested and approved and within budget limitations.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain appointments, schedule, and calendar as assigned by the Director.
  • Open and route incoming mail.
  • Use knowledge, initiative, and discretion to respond to routine and/or confidential mail as documented.
  • Maintain files in an organized and comprehensive manner.
  • Act as a focal point for Departmental administrative projects; support other departments as required.
  • Accept constructive correction as a means for improving job performance and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
  • Update facility Policies and Procedures, Disaster Plan, Infection Control, and other manuals as directed.
  • Serve as back up to the receptionists and Business Office Coordinators.
