About The Position

The Coordinator Operations assists with the day-to-day management of a hatchery, feed mill, transportation, or production complex. The role keeps official records and performs administrative and supervisory support work for the location manager. It reviews and sets production schedules, maintains and updates weekly work schedules—including vacation and leaves of absence—and manages the SAP Purchase Order System. The position also administers the safety program and performs other duties as required by management. This role coordinates and supports moderately complex departmental assignments under general supervision, exercising some independence and applying comprehensive knowledge of how departmental operations affect related work units. It provides tactical guidance or recommendations to internal and external customers to resolve issues within established guidelines. Travel is minimal. The jobsite is a biosecurity environment requiring showering before entry and potentially multiple showers during the workday. Company-provided clothing and footwear are used, jewelry is prohibited except for medical ID jewelry, and the employee must agree to avoid avian species. Company animal-welfare policies and applicable safety procedures must be followed. Required personal protective equipment must be worn when visiting facilities.
