About The Position

As a Coordinator, Operations (BOPS), you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Banking Operations team, namely the Estates, Document Services and Registered Plans Administration teams, ensuring requests are managed efficiently and data is maintained accurately. This role plays a key part in enabling the department to achieve its business goals by coordinating inquiries, maintaining reporting, and supporting internal processes. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and service-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting team success. This is a Full-time, Permanent role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the Team Manager, Estate and Trust. This position will be fully on-site.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in business administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or operations support role, preferably in financial services
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of the financial industry
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills to respond to inquiries and interpret policies clearly
  • Experience managing multiple requests and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate data and reports
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Banking Operations or Estates-related processes
  • Familiarity with reporting tools or data tracking systems
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Managing and administering requests for the Banking Operations team, ensuring timely delegation and responses
