About The Position

The Arc Erie County New York is seeking a Coordinator of Pre-Employment Services to lead a team and oversee programs that help individuals with developmental disabilities build skills, gain independence, and prepare for meaningful employment. The coordinator supports Community Pre-Employment Program Managers and coordinates program operations, scheduling, service delivery, documentation, billing, and compliance with OPWDD requirements. The role also involves collaboration with families, staff, and community partners to support individual success.

Requirements

• Meet one of the following qualification pathways: a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related Human Services field, plus one year of full-time paid experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities; a bachelor’s degree in one of those fields, plus three years of qualifying experience; or an associate degree in one of those fields, plus five years of qualifying experience.
• Valid New York State driver’s license, approved driving record, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and support Community Pre-Employment Program Managers.
• Oversee programs that help individuals develop skills and prepare for employment.
• Coordinate program operations, scheduling, and service delivery.
• Monitor service plans, documentation, billing, and OPWDD compliance.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to support individual success.
