This field-based position is responsible for increasing revenue attainment and resolving cases involving the continuing provision of ZOLL products/services with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff. The role involves visiting ZOLL customers and accounts in the field to ensure the continuity of ZOLL’s medical devices for clinically appropriate cases. The Coordinator will independently determine and collaborate with office staff/healthcare providers to bring patient cases to the staff’s attention, prioritizing competing objectives based on clinical acumen and knowledge of ZOLL’s medical devices. This includes advising providers or their staff on the best path forward for patient care, proactively informing them about the patient’s next level of care and how ZOLL’s medical devices may be involved. The role also involves collaborating with ZOLL TM/RM to ensure appropriate service levels, managing follow-up processes with departments like National Accounts, and maintaining knowledge of clinical and other value propositions of ZOLL products and services. Ensuring timely processing of documentation to prevent delays and reduce risk to revenue streams, and maintaining knowledge of payor requirements for reimbursement are key. The Coordinator will also provide ongoing education and training to hospital and office staff on medical device order requirements and workflows, and is responsible for improved claims billing yield within a defined geography, with potential bonus incentives. The position may also involve assisting with departmental projects and special tasks, achieving performance metrics, and complying with Standard Operating Procedures and healthcare regulations, particularly HIPAA.
