About The Position

This position is a member of the La Salle School of Business (LSB) team and works closely with the Dean’s Office, academic departments, program directors, and other faculty and staff of the business school. This individual is primarily responsible for ensuring seamless academic operations within the business school, managing the schedules of the Dean and key business school committees, and carrying out daily administrative tasks in support of the business school’s department chairs, faculty, program directors, and students. The Coordinator of Operations also works closely with the following areas of the University to carry out his or her duties: Provost’s Office, Enrollment Management, Marketing and Communications, Student Development & Campus Life, Finance & Administration, Advancement, alumni, and campus visitors (including prospective students and families).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior experience in an administrative support role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with video conferencing software, such as Zoom.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task.
  • An understanding of the importance and necessity for confidentiality and privacy when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently to satisfy job requirements.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring seamless academic operations within the business school.
