About The Position

The Coordinator of MTSS-B (Behavior & Social Emotional Learning) supports the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the district’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports for Behavior and SEL (MTSS-B). This role focuses on creating safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments through strong Tier 1 behavioral systems, targeted Tier 2 and 3 interventions, and integrated social-emotional supports. Working in close collaboration with academic leadership and Student Support Services, including Executive Directors, Chiefs of Schools, and school-based teams, the Coordinator ensures behavior and SEL are preventative, data-driven, culturally responsive, and aligned with district priorities. The Coordinator will develop and implement district-wide systems and protocols for MTSS along with strategically planning for MTSS implementation and providing ongoing, engaging professional development. Requirements

  • Experience in designing, implementing, and improving Multi-Tiered System of Supports for Behavior and SEL (MTSS-B).
  • Ability to create safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments.
  • Knowledge of Tier 1 behavioral systems, Tier 2 and 3 interventions, and integrated social-emotional supports.
  • Experience working in collaboration with academic leadership and Student Support Services.
  • Skills in developing and implementing district-wide systems and protocols for MTSS.
  • Experience in strategic planning for MTSS implementation.
  • Ability to provide ongoing, engaging professional development.
