About The Position

The primary role of the Coordinator of Disability Services is responsible for providing direction, coordination, and administrative supervision of identified Community Employment Services (CES) location(s) working in coordination with the Vice President of Disability Services. This role involves providing supervision and evaluation of assigned staff, ensuring adherence to policies and standards, promoting community relations, and leading consultation and education efforts. The position also focuses on program growth, staff productivity, clinical oversight, and scheduling job retention and coaching interventions for consumers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human service or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of administrative and/or clinical experience in the field of disabilities.
  • Working knowledge of state regulations and the process of accreditation.
  • Mental Health Professional status.
  • Work experience as Employment Specialist or applicable experience.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Meets organization's insurability requirements.
  • Completion of all background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Provides supervision and evaluation of assigned staff working in the location(s) and fill staff vacancies for the smooth operation of the Program(s).
  • Monitors and assures that Bridgeway policies and procedures and CARF, Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) standards, and other applicable standards/rules are maintained by staff.
  • Assures that staff are kept informed of pertinent program and organizational information; promote and maintain community relations, education and awareness of services for individuals with disabilities.
  • Assumes a lead role in the provision of consultation and education to various staff within Bridgeway and to the communities we serve to promote Rehabilitation and Recovery for people with disabilities with a focus on the evidence based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Fidelity Model and the value of work for all people.
  • Seeks opportunities for program growth and enhancement.
  • Oversees staff productivity, assisting with time management and coaching staff to achieve productivity expectations.
  • Ensures clinical oversight of the consumer cases either providing directly or facilitating clinical consultation through the team process.
  • Schedule job retention and job coaching support interventions for consumers placed in community employment based on consumer and employer needs.
